Open Question: My jeep hood wont latch, can someone help me?

so in order to get the latch open at all i had to hit the release with a hammer and now i keep trying to just let the hood fall and latch closed but it wont shut all the way. Can anyone tell me what to do to get my hood closed? (94' jeep cherokee, 4 door)... read more
